This is this single most vital and yet least addressed aspect to healing: emotional help, self-love and acceptance. Many diseases originally stems from not loving ourselves, lack of self-acceptance, self-criticism, hate, anger, or not listening to intuition or living in tune with who we really are and what our heart actually wants.
Maybe we are taught to think that we are not wonderful people inside or we do not deserve to invest in ourselves.
One of the first things, people feel when their body breaks down is that they start to feel discouraged, they get angry, they get frustrated with their bodies, they blame themselves and their bodies. All of those things are very negative, and it will impair their body from healing.
One of the first things you need to do if you want to heal physically, is you need to heal emotionally. Here are a few things you can do:
1. Come up with a reasons why you want to live and why you want to get well. Maybe you have a family you need to take care of, you want to travel, or have children, you want to be able to see your grandchildren grow up, you want to be able to dance, sing, draw again. Everyone who is sick want to get well, but they do not know why. You have to find whatever that is that vibrates and resonates with you the most.
2. Every single day you wake up write a list of things you love about your life: your cat, your dog, your children, your parents, your husband or your wife, your home and you would not want to give up ever. Feel the deep love for those things.
3. Try to find humor in everything. Laughter is truly the best medicine. My dedication to humor is really kept me from getting depressed and hopeless when I was sick. No matter what you are going through, I hope you find a reason to smile today.
Your body feels and senses if your mind does not accept who you are. Your body might try to heal itself but it will not be in sink in a way that your body and mind is working. My best advice for people out there, that we cannot wait until your body is in perfect health you need to TAKE ACTION each day to get there and be more self-aware of all the things you do, think, and eat each day.
You deserve to be loved, you deserve to invest in yourself because you are alive and the world needs you.
